Welcome to my personal website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science at Taibah University. I completed my PhD at RMIT University in 2025, where I worked with Professor Mark Sanderson, Professor Falk Scholer (RMIT), and Dr Paul Thomas (Microsoft). My research lies in Information Retrieval (IR), focusing on evaluation, user variability, and the role of Large Language Models (LLMs) in developing IR evaluation resources. I am also committed to advancing Arabic IR through the development of evaluation resources and solutions grounded in Arabic and regionally relevant information needs, as well as fostering a sustainable research community. Through this work, I aim to promote more inclusive and language-diverse IR research.
